- St Andrew’s is Immingham’s parish church. This means we are part of the Church of England. Members of the “C of E” are often called Anglicans, and the the C of E is the mother church of the worldwide Anglican Communion. The national church has close links with other Christian denominations, both here and abroad.
The C of E is formed of a number of dioceses, most of which are about the size of a geographical county. Immingham is part of the Diocese of Lincoln. Each diocese is subdivided into deaneries, which as their name suggests were once about ten parishes. Our deanery is called Haverstoe.
Within the town we work together with the other churches – Roman Catholic, Methodist, Hope Church, Immingham Christian Centre – as Christians Together in Immingham.
